The two ways things change
You control your receptionist's rules in the portal. Saving a change queues an automatic update to your existing number. Settings shows whether the update is pending, live, or needs attention. For changes outside the portal, contact support@revenuepack.com. There is no extra charge for tuning.
Change it yourself in the portal
- Her name — she introduces herself with it on every call. Leave it blank for June.
- Her voice — pick from five tested voices.
- Your greeting line — exactly how she opens the call, word for word, or leave it standard.
- Your hours, as callers should hear them — plus a temporary closure note with an end date that retires itself.
- The never-say list — things she must never promise or claim: prices, warranties, timelines, anything. You set the guardrails; she stays inside them.
- Your services — one per line; she confirms only what's on the list.
- Your lead alert email and emergency transfer number.
One email away (we change it for you)
- Your service area — where she confirms you work.
- Transfer and escalation rules — what counts as urgent enough to ring you directly.
- Scheduler hookup and lead webhook — landing captured jobs in your field-service software.
- Extra knowledge — price sheets, FAQs, or documents beyond what your website says.
- A dedicated business number in your area code — skip forwarding entirely and let her answer your main line directly.
- Anything else about how she handles calls — if you can describe it, we can usually tune it.
When your changes go live
Changes to your receptionist's name, voice, greeting, spoken hours, services, guardrails, closure notice, and transfer number are published automatically. Your existing phone number stays the same. Temporary closure notices are scheduled for removal after their end date. Booking hours and appointment length apply to the next availability check; enabling booking also requires the automatic conversation update. If an update cannot complete, Settings shows the problem and the system retries.
